Over the past few decades, inflatable boats have largely taken over the role of tenders for bigger boats. Originally, the appeal seems to have been stowability—boats, no matter how large, never seem to have space to spare, and a tender that can be deflated and stowed in a lazarette has undeniable appeal.

As compared to rigid dinghies. Inflatables boats were lighter, roomier (for the same length boat), much more stable both underway and upon boarding, and had much greater load capacities. Their lower freeboard also made them ideal for rescue work, or as a dive boat or swimming float.

For our HSM series, the introduction of foldable floor and inflatable keel has brought about a great easy stowability, and easy to set up, you can assemble the boat even in rough conditions.

3 options of floors available: The one is rigid drop-stitch air mat floor, cleverly designed with thousands of weaving polyester threads that allow the boat to be inflated to a high pressure up to 10PSI, proving comfortable feel and just as tough and rigid as a conventional wood floor. The others are foldable aluminum floor, and foldable marine grade plywood floor, tending to provide a more-rigid structure and robust performance.
